Nostalgia

It's been a day of nostalgia around here. This morning, while running some errands, I happened by HMV and guess what I found. I found a section of CDs going for 2 for $10. Exactly! Now how am I gonna pass that up? So, believe it or not I picked up a few or six. I got two by one of Maryse's favourites (not!) - Bob Dylan

1970's "New Morning"

1986's "Knocked Out Loaded"
Going way back, 1967's "Child is Father to the Man" by Blood, Sweat and Tears. This is the version of the group with Al Kooper, prior to David Clayton-Thomas joining.

Another of Maryse's favourites, Willie Nelson's "Red Headed Stranger" from 1975.

A Van Morrison classic - "T.B. Sheets" from 1967, issued on CD in 1973.

And finally, 1976's "Loggins and Messina - The Best of Friends"

Ahh, it was like a musical garage sale! The clerk asked me if I found everything I was looking for. When I told him I wasn't really looking for anything we both had a good laugh.

Here's Dylan and George Harrison doing If Not For You from New Morning

Here's a video of Willy doing Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain from Red Headed Stranger...

And here's a clip of Van doing Brown Eyed Girl from T.B. Sheets
