If You're Sick Of Straight Lines Try Angles

When someone says triangle, what's the first thing that comes to mind?  Is it this?

Or this...

Or how about this, maybe...

Or did you think of a love triangle?

I bet you wouldn't have thought of this...

Or this...

Now, I would have thought of this...

And here in Canada I might have thought of the logo for the Canadian Television Network...

And of course I would have thought of the unsung, lowly orchestra instrument...

And, of course, my favourite triangle solo...

Pop on over to Theme Thursday and see what other bloggers thought about "triangle".

With the strange layout of Rochester's roadways, I find myself going around in triangles instead of circles when lost.

Boom-Boom: Be careful of those sharpe left turns.

Heh heh - Ed Grimley! Loved his hair. Second City was a riot. Does CTV still use that logo?

00dozo: Martin Short invented the Grimley character while at Second City, but the video is from Saturday Night Live. CTV still has the same logo.

Triangles are interesting shapes. In my town there's a Triangle Grocery, Triangle Photos, Triangle Iron and Triangle Boots.
To this day I cannot see how these places came up with that name. There is nothing triangular about any of them, but like me, they like the lowly little triangle I suppose.

Don: Did you know I lost my parrot last week? Yeah. I've been thinking about my polygon ever since.

Triangles are just circles with stop points.

Triangles are for the slow moving set, whereas circles are for the fast movers.

I am definitely a triangle.

Quirks: Are you trying to run circles around my triangle?

Hey, Dufus, you did a great job with the triangle theme. Especially with the title. Try Angles. Hahaha.

I didn't have time to do the theme Thursday this week. I've been on the phone with the IRS. :0

Leeuna: I'm glad you appreciated the title. IRS? Isn't that next week's theme?

Great, now I want chocolate. And oddly enough, a triangle to play. Funny stuff.

Ed Grimley is classic! That hair! Those pants! Plus, he's so musically talented!

I think of those stupid triangles we used in 6th grade math class.

That Pat Sajak seems like a nice guy, I must say.

Personally, my favorite Ed Grimley sketch is the one where Howard Cosell plays his uncle. Hilarious.

RA: Oh Martin Short's Ed Grimley is always good for a laugh.

AngelMay: Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for visiting. Don't be a stranger

Ziva: Toblerone has got to be the best chocolate bar ever. And it fit today's theme. Beauty!

Deb: You played triangles in math class? I loved the "find x, here it is".

Chris: I think Grimley was Short's funniest character. Can't recall the Cosell spot. I'll have to go looking for it.
