30 Days of Writing

In June 2012 a bunch of bloggers who should have known better participated in a blog challenge dreamed up by Nicky and Mike @ We Work For Cheese entitled 30 Days of Writing. As the days crawled by some bloggers dropped off unable to fulfil the only rule in the contest: post something 30 days in a row. I may have lost my appetite, couldn't sleep, and my hair fell out but yours truly succeeded and clicking on the link will take you to my efforts...

30 Days of Writing II

Well Nicky and Mike @ We Work for Cheese (pictured above) went and did it again. Having launched a successful writing challenge some months ago in 2012 they decided to reprise their efforts and invited bloggers from around the world to participate in 30 Days of Writing Minus 2 in February. Clever, eh? You se February has 28 days so it was a 30 minus 2 days competition. Yeah, well, whatever. Click the link and you'll see my efforts for the month...

30 Days of Writing III

That's right. This is the third writing challenge. And like a lemming to an unseen steep cliff I ran to participate. Why? Oh, I don't know. Let's not discuss my personal problems, okay?

Because this challenge takes place in February it's called the 30 Minus 2 Days of Writing challenge. Smart, eh? It's Nicky Eff's idea.

This year I did something a little different. I took each daily prompt and plotted a parody of a crime novel. My tale starred a cheesy detective named Inspector Jack Gouda. Really.

And you can follow his adventures here…
